Best Online Paid Survey Websites

1. Swagbucks

I’ve discussed the phenomenon which is Swagbucks in my 10 ways to make money online article. In my opinion, and many others, it is the best most reliable and best online paid survey website. But I’ll go into a little more detail here.

Firstly, Swagbucks is NOT just online paid surveys… but these are a big part. Swagbucks pays you for doing things you would already be doing online anyway. Paying activities include: shopping online, surveys, printing and redeeming coupons, watching videos, browsing the internet and even playing games. Yes. You seriously can get paid for doing this stuff!

For completing activities, you get rewarded with a currency called Swagbucks (SB) – these can either be exchanged for gift vouchers from places like Amazon… or exchanged for real cash on Paypal.

Don’t get me wrong, is this a full-time job? No. Is this a part-time job? No. But it will get you some extra side cash. Maybe you’ve been eyeing up some new clothes or a new gadget… Swagbucks can definitely help you save up.

Is Swagbucks Legit?

Now we know the activities, here’s the real question… is Swagbucks legit? Yes. Swagbucks has been around since 2010. Since then, it has only grown and has even partnered with some of the biggest and well-known brands including: Amazon, Starbucks, Target and Paypal.

They have paid their growing members over £300,000,000 million pounds. Why did I write that number in full? Because look how big it is! They also give out 7,000 FREE gift cards EVERY day.

On TrustPilot, they have an overall rating of 4.3/5 from over 20,000 different users. On Sitejabber, they have an overall rating of 4.6/5 from over 8,000 different users.

I’d say that’s pretty reliable. There’s really no harm in giving it a go for yourself and seeing how you get on – click here to sign up today!

2. LifePoints

LifePoints offers you the opportunity to get paid for completing surveys like the others… however, they are directly emailed to you so you don’t miss them/you’re reminded to complete them here and there. This really racks up points over time.

Lifepoints has paid out $22 million to its users in the last year alone – and is available in over 40 countries! Similar to other online survey sites, you can either redeem your LifePoints (LP’s) for gift cards or straight cash through PayPal.

Is LifePoints Legit?

Is LifePoints legit? Absolutely! They have an average rating of 4.5/5 on Trustpilot from over 12,500 people. However, just so you get an idea of the full picture, on Sitejabber, they have an average rating of 3.2/5 from over 350 users. Whilst this is a lower rating than on Trustpilot, there are also significantly less reviews making it less representative as a statistic.

3. MyPoints

MyPoints was founded in 1996. It not only allows you to earn money through surveys, but also earn cashback or points for shopping, watching videos and printing and redeeming coupons.

There are new surveys added daily… but the BEST part of MyPoints is that even when you have completed a survey but do not qualify, you will still get a bonus pay-out so you will never miss out on getting paid.

The negative of many other sites is that if you get a certain percent through the survey and answer a question and no longer qualify, you will not be paid. At least with MyPoints, you do at least get a bonus.

Is MyPoints Legit?

Is MyPoints legit? Yes. It has over 20 million users. MyPoints also has an average rating of 4.4/5 on Trustpilot from over 6,300 users. This makes it one of the best online paid survey websites.

4. Qmee

Similarly to to number of survey websites, Qmee has more than just surveys. Activities on Qmee include: cash rewards for searching the internet, shopping online, surveys and using the special offers they put on. The great aspect of Qmee searching to earn cash is that the free mobile app works on Google, Amazon, Ebay, Bing and more (not just in the app searching).

Founded in 2012, Qmee prides itself on a number of things. They offer straight up cash into your wallet instead of having another currency like the SB in Swagbucks. They also offer a no minimum cash out meaning you could earn £1 and still cash that out through PayPal.

Is Qmee Legit?

Is Qmee legit? Yes. Not only have they been featured on Forbes, CNN, HuffPost and Mashable, they have an average rating of 4.4/5 on Trustpilot from over 1,000 users.

The payout and survey quantity and quality from Qmee is lower than Swagbucks. However, I still wanted to add Qmee due to the massive benefit of no minimum withdrawals. This means you can give it a go to see if this is the site for you, and if not, you can take what you’ve made and go.

5. PrizeRebel

PrizeRebel has been around since 2007. This trusted site, as the article title suggests, allows you to take online surveys and get paid for doing so. This one currently does not have other options like getting paid to search or shop, but does have watching videos.

Like other sites, you can earn points and be rewarded by either selecting gift cards or straight up cash through PayPal. PrizeRebel is linked with massive brands like Amazon, M&S and Tesco (over 100+ others). You can also get rewards from brands like GAP, Nike, Xbox to Playstation – there really is a wide variety.

Is PrizeRebel Legit?

The most important question… is PrizeRebel legit? Yes. PrizeRebel also has this really fun rewards bar on their website that shows when someone has recently redeemed a reward. It’s good to see others are genuinely redeeming prizes and making some pocket money.

Fun fact… they have paid out over 15 million dollars! Strangely however, PrizeRebel has an average rating of 3.1/5 on Trustpilot from only just over 150 people. I’ve read these reviews and many rave about them, but some users have experienced being screened out of surveys before payment. In my personal opinion, I feel use the website and it is working for you, it is one of the better online survey sites. You just need to decide whether it’s worth your time or not to see.

PrizeRebel is also one of the better paying sites compared to many others out there. It also has a lower pay-out threshold of 200 points which equates to $2.

Survey Junkie

This could have ranked as one of the best online paid survey websites! The only reason it has not been discussed on this article is because it cannot be used in the UK – it is really large in the US, Canada and Australia. We wanted this list to be as accessible to as many people as possible!

Other online survey sites include: Opinion Outpost, MarketAgent, Branded Surveys and Inbox Pounds.
